Job Summary:
IEHP is dedicated to healing and inspiring the human spirit, and they are seeking a Manager of Data Governance. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the organization's data governance strategy, ensuring compliance and quality of data while fostering a data-driven culture.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Shape and execute the organizationโ€™s enterprise data governance strategy.
โ€ข Lead initiatives to establish and enforce data policies, standards, and practices across the organization, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security of core data domains, including PII/PHI.
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
โ€ข Drive the adoption of data governance frameworks.
โ€ข Manage data stewardship efforts.
โ€ข Facilitate day-to-day data-related decision-making processes.
โ€ข Foster a data-driven culture and enable the organization to leverage data as a strategic asset.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in large-scale data or project management experience
โ€ข Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection is also required
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management from an accredited institution required
โ€ข In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience is required for this position. This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.
โ€ข Certified Data Management Professional (CFMP) required
Preferred:
โ€ข Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Information Management from an accredited institution preferred
โ€ข Knowledge of data quality and data protection management practices, including those related to the management of healthcare data (i.e., PHI/PII, HIPAA, etc.) preferred
