Job description

Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Integration Specialist to support PPHP, monitor, and optimize enterprise data operations. This role maintains reliable data pipelines, resolves data quality and integration issues, and supports Power BI reporting. The successful candidate will partner with Data, QA, IT, and business teams to deliver accurate, timely, and well-governed data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and integration processes.

• Troubleshoot failures, data gaps, discrepancies, and missing records.

• Validate and reconcile data across source systems, integrated datasets, and Power BI reports.

• Use SQL to investigate issues, validate results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

• Support QA and UAT through test-data setup, validation, regression testing, and defect resolution.

• Resolve data quality issues, including missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records.

• Provide operational support for Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and refresh processes.

• Administer Power BI workspaces, permissions, user access, and external guest access.

• Monitor and troubleshooting refresh, connectivity, gateway, and access issues.

• Support Power BI deployments, environment configuration, and governance activities.

• Collaborate with Data, QA, IT, and business teams to resolve issues efficiently.

• Track production incidents, communicate status and impact, and drive timely resolution.

• Maintain clear documentation of data processes, mappings, known issues, and troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications amp; Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience in data integration, data operations, ETL development, or a comparable role. • Hands-on experience with an ETL platform such as SSIS, Talend, or Informatica. • Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and data quality practices.

• Experience supporting Power BI reports, dashboards, workspaces, gateways, and refresh processes.

• Proficiency in Python or R is preferred; experience with SSRS and Azure SQL is a plus.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail when working with large, complex datasets.

• Knowledge of healthcare data, terminology, and industry practices is preferred.
