Position Overview
The Marketing & Intake/Discharge Coordinator plays a vital role in driving occupancy, enhancing community outreach, and ensuring a seamless transition experience for residents and their families. This position is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in both strategic marketing and hands-on coordination.
You will serve as a key ambassador for Brookstone, helping prospective residents discover our community while also guiding families through admissions and transitions with care, clarity, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase occupancy and brand awareness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources (hospitals, rehab centers, physicians, social workers, and community organizations)
- Represent Brookstone at networking events, health fairs, and community outreach initiatives
- Manage digital presence, including social media, online listings, and reputation management
- Conduct tours for prospective residents and families, delivering an exceptional first impression
- Track and analyze marketing metrics to optimize performance and ROI
Intake & Admissions
- Coordinate all aspects of the resident intake process, including assessments, documentation, and communication with families
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents from inquiry through move-in
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure appropriate placement and care planning
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Discharge Coordination
- Facilitate smooth and respectful discharge processes when necessary
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and external partners
- Ensure all documentation and transitions are handled efficiently and compassionately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1โ3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within healthcare, assisted living, senior care, or related fields
- Experience in admissions, intake coordination, or case management strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Proven ability to build relationships and generate referrals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems, social media platforms, and basic marketing tools
