Promise Robotics is pioneering Physical AI for homebuilding - a rapidly growing, venture-backed company bringing together AI, robotics, and manufacturing to help the homebuilding industry meet the growing demand for housing. Our robotic systems, built andย operatedย inside ย AI-powered factories, give the industry the production capacity, consistency, and speed to build more high-quality homes than traditional methods allow. We're looking for a strong writer and organized operator to support grant applications, funding proposals, and strategic submissions that help scale our business and mission.

This role is ideal for someone who can take complex ideas, technical information, and business initiatives and turn them into clear, compelling proposals. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across operations, engineering, finance, and leadership to gather information, manage timelines, and produce high-quality submissions.

You'll have the opportunity to help secure funding and partnerships that directly support innovation, growth, and real-world impact. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategy, storytelling, and execution in a mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the Proposal Lifecycle:ย Own the end-to-end proposal process for grant applications, funding proposals, government submissions, partnership applications and other supporting documentation.
  • Analyze and Strategize: ย Research relevant grant and funding programs, monitor new funding opportunities aligned with company priorities, and own evaluation of eligibility and fit.ย 
  • Collaborate and Orchestrate: Partner with internal team members to gather technical, operational, and financial information, translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and coordinate inputs across teams to meet deadlines.
  • Craft Content: Research, write, and edit all proposal sections.
  • Maintain Content Templates: Maintain proposal templates and reusable content, organize supporting materials, metrics, and company information, and help standardize proposal processes as we grow.
  • Submission Management: Track grant and proposal timelines, manage submission calendars and requirements and ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience writing proposals, grants, business communications or other technical writing.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise and persuasive business language. ย 
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple complex proposals simultaneously. ย 
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to leverage AI tools
  • A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field. ย 

Nice to Have
