Job description

Job Title: Health & Safety Manager
Job Location: Berlin, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve regulatory and company safety programs (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI).
  • Create, review, and enforce plant safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign, track, and report on all regulatory and safety training across the facility.
  • Manage cases including doctor visits, light duty assignments, reporting, and financial forecasting.
  • Conduct audits, train employees, develop corrective actions, and monitor progress.
  • Oversee the health & safety budget, including PPE, supplies, and first aid resources.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly safety performance reports to leadership.
  • Serve as Medical First Responder and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and case management.
  • Conduct safety reviews for Management of Change (MOC) processes.
  • Supervise 2 direct reports (Safety Specialist & Hourly Safety Technician) and potentially a Training Coordinator in the near future.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support safety and compliance.
