Job description

Clinical Liaison (Paramedic / Allied Health)
Location: Greater Seattle Area (On-Site / Embedded at Partner Medical Facility)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $100,000 - $105,000 / year + up to $10,000 in bonuses
The Role
Are you an experienced Paramedic or Allied Health Professional, looking to step away from direct hands-on care and transition into an administrative, strategic, and business development role?
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Clinical Liaison to serve as the primary bridge between our hospital partners and the myLaurel care team. In this fully on-site role, you will be embedded directly inside our partner medical facility. You will serve as the face of our Acute Care at Home program on the hospital floor, focusing on relationship-building, business development, and administrative coordination to drive referrals and ensure seamless patient handoffs.
What You'll Do
  • Drive Business Development: Act as the primary relationship manager on-site. Work alongside hospital case managers, discharge planners, emergency department staff, and physicians to generate referrals and grow our in-home care programs.
  • Lead Administrative Coordination: Manage the logistical and administrative workflows of patient transitions, ensuring that the handoff from the hospital or emergency setting to the patient's living room is flawless.
  • Identify Eligible Patients: Use your clinical background to review patient charts, assess eligibility for our acute-care-at-home model, and advocate for safe, alternative care pathways.
  • Educate & Advocate: Conduct presentations and daily one-on-one touchpoints with facility staff to educate them on myLaurel's capabilities, clinical criteria, and patient benefits.
  • Solve Problems Strategically: Identify operational barriers to patient referrals in real-time and collaborate with the myLaurel leadership team to implement high-level administrative solutions.

What You Bring
  • Active Clinical License: Current, unencumbered license/certification in the State of Washington as a Paramedic (or Flight Paramedic/Critical Care EMT-P), or Allied Health Professional (DMS, Radiology, Therapies, etc)
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an acute care clinical setting. Previous experience or a strong interest in healthcare business development, clinical sales, discharge planning, or utilization review is highly preferred.
  • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the natural ability to establish trust, integrate into a facility's culture, and build rapport with busy medical professionals.
  • Administrative Acumen: Strong organizational skills and a desire to manage program logistics and care transitions rather than providing direct, hands-on patient care.
  • On-Site Presence: A highly engaged professional who thrives in a bustling medical facility environment and is comfortable being the primary, in-person representative for myLaurel.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating various EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) and utilizing CRM software to track referral metrics and business growth.

Why Join myLaurel?
  • Competitive Base Compensation: $100,000 - $105,000 / year
  • Lucrative Quarterly Bonuses: We want to reward your hustle! On top of your base salary, you will be eligible for a highly competitive, performance-driven quarterly bonus structure. As you drive referrals and grow the program, your earning potential grows with it! Up to $10,000 per year.
  • Career Growth: The perfect opportunity to pivot your clinical expertise into the business, administrative, and growth side of healthcare.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Discretionary Time Off (DTO) and paid holidays.
  • Financial Wellness: 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Impact: The opportunity to be on the ground floor of a transformative healthcare model that keeps patients out of the hospital and in their homes.

$100,000 - $105,000 a year
