In addition to drawing blood, phlebotomists may also be responsible for maintaining equipment, labeling samples, and interacting with patients to help them feel comfortable during the procedure. Phlebotomists typically work in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, or blood donation centers. Their role is vital in diagnosing medical conditions and ensuring patient care.
