The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a NET/NEF Team Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of New Equipment Testing (NET) and New Equipment Fielding (NEF) initiatives in support of Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401) and C-UxS initiatives. This position requires a strategic approach to integrating new equipment into existing operations, ensuring minimal disruption, adherence to safety protocols, and alignment with organizational goals. The NET/NEF Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, logistics, and operations, to facilitate seamless equipment deployment and optimization.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive NET/NEF strategies aligned with JIATF 401 C-UxS objectives.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership to define project scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
  • Create detailed project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and risk management strategies.
  • Travel to outstations and oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of new C-UxS equipment to ensure it meets operational needs and standards.
  • Manage the transition of new equipment into production, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Ensure all NET/NEF activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and JIATF/DOW policies.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols during equipment fielding and testing.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present status reports to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, risk/challenges, and recommendations.
  • Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures, technical manuals, and project reports.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in equipment fielding.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of NET/NEF processes.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • BA/BS with 4+ years; AA/AS with 8+ years; or HS/GED with 10+ years.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Must be able to work in various environments, including office and field settings.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
