Job description

Maintenance Coordinator
Monday-Friday weekly schedule. Day Shift hours. Maybe asked to be available afterhours or other days when needed.
To be filled immediately.
We are looking for a responsible maintenance coordinator to maintain our facilities and provide a safe environment at our Jacksonville campus. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance knowledge and is personable with staff, volunteers, vendors and members. They will need to have physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and high standard of excellence is expected.
Essential Core Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall upkeep of two buildings, grounds and church vehicles. Ensure optimal condition of all areas and assets.
  • Will coordinate and oversee vendors hired to perform other services beyond the scope of general maintenance.
  • Will coordinate, supervise and manage facility volunteers.
  • Ensure organization is up-to-date with fire and safety inspections.
  • Perform monthly inspections/maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Will assist custodial team on occasion to prepare spaces for meetings, events and more.
  • Daily meetings and check-ins with management

Qualifications:
  • Able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and climb ladders
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Operate large vehicles/trailers/equipment

Experience:
  • 5-10 years of practical experience maintaining properties
  • 5 years or more supervision experience

Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday
  • Full-time Hours
  • Day shift
  • 5 days: 8-hour shifts
  • Afterhours or weekends when needed
