MUST HAVE RECENT QUALITY INSPECTION EXPERIENCE (Minimum of 5 years inspection experience.)
The Senior Quality Inspector inspects and reports on manufacturing quality. The incumbent may perform the inspection of incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using more complex inspection gauging and may use coordinate measuring type machines. They have an understanding of basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing systems. Requires performing intricate First Article inspections on a wide variety of parts and may involve castings, molds and assemblies. They initiate rejection reports for non-conforming materials and ensure proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements. Based on their thorough knowledge of the Quality Control process they publish and analyze Quality reports & write procedures taking appropriate actions when required. They interface with Technical Operations, Quality Assurance, Production, P&IC, Development personnel and may include suppliers solving quality issues, troubleshooting parts, and recommending courses of action. They may provide direction for other inspectors. Minimum of 5 years inspection experience. High School graduate is a MUST. Forklift will not be a regular part of the job, however they will use a pallet jack almost every day.*
