Job Title: QA Test Manager -- Healthcare EHR

Job Location: Austin, TX | Onsite

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced QA Test Manager -- Healthcare EHR to lead the quality assurance strategy, planning, and execution for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and compliance of healthcare applications by leading functional, integration, regression, ETL, data migration, and UAT testing activities. This role requires close collaboration with program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant healthcare solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • 11+ years of experience as a QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager.
  • Strong experience leading QA strategy, governance, planning, execution, and defect management for enterprise applications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with data validation, data migration, ETL testing, and data reconciliation.
  • Experience leading functional testing across EHR modules, including clinical, scheduling, pharmacy, billing, orders, medications, and documentation.
  • Experience validating end-to-end clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Expertise in System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Interface Testing.
  • Experience validating data migration from legacy EHR and ancillary systems.
  • Experience testing SaaS configuration changes, vendor releases, and application enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of test planning, test case development, traceability matrices, and test execution.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities with vendors, business users, developers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, or similar test management tools.
  • Strong defect lifecycle management, reporting, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile and Hybrid SDLC environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting EHR implementation projects involving clinical, pharmacy, scheduling, and billing workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, CCDA, ICD, and CPT.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, healthcare privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting State Government or Public Sector Healthcare programs.
  • Experience with healthcare SaaS platforms and enterprise healthcare applications.
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.
