Job description

Overview

The Graduate Assistant for Digital Transformation will support institutional efforts to modernize administrative and clinical workflows by digitizing paper-based forms and helping implement automated, paperless processes. This role will work closely with IT, academic departments, and clinical staff to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility while supporting compliance and data security requirements.This is a hands-on role ideal for a graduate student interested in health IT, higher education technology, business process improvement, or digital transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Digitize legacy paper forms into clean, fillable digital formats
  • Assist in designing automated workflows for form routing, approvals, and storage
  • Support implementation of paperless processes for academic and clinical operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current workflows and pain points
  • Document processes, workflows, and technical configurations
  • Perform basic testing and quality assurance of digital forms and workflows
  • Help ensure solutions align with privacy, security, and compliance standards
  • Provide basic user support and training materials as neededLearning Opportunities
