Job description

The Data Applications Analyst contributes to organizational data activities by supporting analysis and application performance across MedCura Healthโ€™s multisite network. This hybrid role combines application knowledge with dataanalysis responsibilities to assist with operational workflows related to clinical services, patient access, financial processes, and emerging technologies used within the organization.


  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field such as Health Informatics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline; a masterโ€™s degree is preferred

  • At least three years of experience in healthcare data or applications analysis, including work in settings such as FQHCs or other healthcare environments

  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and datavisualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau

  • Experience with EHR platforms including systems such as athenaOne, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, or Epic, as well as telephony systems and documentationrelated technologies

  • Understanding of healthcare operations and workflows including clinical processes and financial reporting

  • Strong communication and analytical abilities


Application & Data Integration
  • Manage and review telephony data from IVR/VoIP systems to assess patientaccess and callcenter activity.

  • Extract and interpret EHR metrics to assist with qualityrelated and compliancerelated initiatives.

  • Support deployment of documentation tools and ensure alignment with established clinical workflows.

  • Review financial operations data related to billing, reimbursement, and budgeting in coordination with finance and revenuecycle teams.

Analytics and Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Conduct data validation and trend reviews across departments.

  • Summarize complex datasets into clear information for leadership and operational teams.

  • Maintain data integrity and regulatory alignment including HIPAA and related standards.

CrossFunctional Coordination
  • Work with internal teams across clinical, operational, IT, and finance areas to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
