Job description

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Health Educator to join our outstanding and compassionate team. Come join our Community Health team in this pool position where you will be responsible for community and corporate wellness screenings and health education across BayCare's service area.
This position requires AHCA Level 2 background clearance and requires travel within home base county but also to our sister counties with your own reliable transportation.
The Health Educator responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing screening assessments
  • Identifying risk factors and discussing lifestyle changes with customers
  • Refers customers to appropriate services
  • Maintains and distributes teaching materials
  • Facilitates education programs for team members and the community
  • Develops and maintains presentation materials
  • Travels within the service area using own transportation and performs other duties as assigned
