Resident Care AssociateLocation: Berryville, VA 22611Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our team in Berryville, VA. The Resident Care Associate will provide direct care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a respectful and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance and help with transferring residents safely.
  • Monitor and report changes in residentsโ€™ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
  • Support residents during meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Follow care plans and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality resident care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of resident care and safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
