Job description

We are seeking aCold Header Operatorfor our 2nd shift operation. This individual will be responsible for operating and monitoring multi-station cold heading equipment, includingSacmaandNationalmachines, to produce quality fasteners and components while maintaining production standards and safety requirements. Setup experience is a plus but not required.

5% shift premium for pay as well.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitorSacma and National cold heading machinesto produce parts according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Perform routine quality checks using gauges and measuring tools to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
  • Load material, make minor adjustments, troubleshoot basic issues, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Complete production documentation and communicate equipment or quality concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies while meeting productivity goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operatingcold heading equipment, preferably Sacma or National machines.
  • Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring instruments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
  • Setup experience on cold headers is highly desirable but not required.
  • Ability to work independently on2nd shiftand lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with multi-die cold heading machines.
  • Knowledge of fastener manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Ability to perform machine setups and changeovers.
