We are looking for a Global Head of Automotive & Mobility to lead Star's industry strategy, revenue growth and client relationships worldwide.
Reporting to the CEO, you will own the global performance of the Automotive & Mobility industry group. This is a senior commercial leadership role for someone who can build trusted executive relationships, open strategic opportunities and guide cross-functional teams from market insight through to delivery.
You will work closely with regional leaders, sales, marketing and delivery teams to grow existing accounts, win new enterprise clients and strengthen Star's position as a trusted partner for automotive experience transformation in the agentic era.
As a Global Head of Automotive & Mobility at Star, you will define, run, and own initiatives that will expand Star's industry market share through our ability to attract, retain, and grow world-class customers through our impactful, high-value adding offerings.
We explicitly welcome candidates from strategy consultancies, Big Four industry practices, and senior professionals from tier-one consultancies seeking to transition into their first leadership role.
What impact you'll make
  • Serve as an inspirational, effective and focused leader of a global industry team consisting of both direct reports and matrixed commercial and delivery crew members across the globe;
  • Grow business with existing customers 15-20% per year;
  • Establish and maintain a qualified, factored pipeline of a minimum of 2.5X the annual revenue targets;
  • Own creation and execution of the global and regional industry sales plans focused on customer acquisition, retention, and growth;
  • Define and execute on the channel partner strategy;
  • Lead from the front, developing and leveraging relationships through meetings, pitches, networking, speaking engagements, and events;
  • Establish and implement OKRs and performance measures designed to track and report progress against the plan. Own executive and Board-level reporting on industry performance activities;
  • Manage sales systems and incentive structures that ensure accountability and focus for everyone in your industry organization;
  • Recruit, activate, and manage high-performance crew members;
  • Work closely with the Marketing and inside sales team on activities that generate lead flow and funnel traction;
  • Act as a spokesperson and opinion leader for the industry.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role!
Must have:
  • 15+ years of sales/business development experience, with a proven experience selling B2B services to enterprise clients, ideally within automotive or adjacent industries;
  • Strong executive relationships and impeccable networking skills;
  • Experience setting up and maintaining value-add channel partner relationships;
  • Fast-paced, highly collaborative team player;
  • Solid experience in the software services and /or consulting firms;
  • Fluent in consultative selling with a strong ability to identify, open, and win specific large named customers;
  • Public speaking and negotiation skills;
  • Strong muscle memory of revenue stabilization and growth during crises and downcycles;
  • Avid practitioner of scalable process and methodology;
  • Value pricing expertise;
  • Truly global, with experience and appreciation of American, European, and Asian business cultures.

  • Scrappiness and high-growth company mentality;
