Job description

Head of North American Buy‑Side Sales

Broadridge, a global FinTech leader with $4B in revenue, is seeking a Head of North American Buy‑Side Sales to lead a high‑performing sales team focused on front‑ and middle‑office software and operations solutions for alternative asset managers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a sales team that sells front‑, middle‑, and back‑office software and operational solutions to hedge funds, private credit firms, and CLO managers.
  • Drive new recurring revenue and new logos by creating sales opportunities with alternative asset managers.
  • Provide coaching, training, and leadership to help the sales team identify potential clients and deliver tailored, consultative pitches.
  • Engage sales staff to understand prospective clients’ current technology and operational needs.
  • Cross‑functionally collaborate with heads of the investment management business to guide product enhancements and roadmap.
  • Manage a centralized database of target accounts, including pipeline opportunities, contact management, and campaign tracking.
  • Implement processes and tools to maintain accountability and ensure sales associates build and convert pipeline.
  • Prepare white‑space analysis for the market segment.
  • Lead and integrate marketing activities into the sales team, including brand and product training, lead generation, and marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in client meetings to refine the Broadridge story and train the sales team.
  • Build a premier U.S. buy‑side sales force, including recruitment, training, and reporting.
  • Set and recognize quotas for team and individual contributors.
  • Interact with senior‑level management at client sites and within Broadridge.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen client relationships and promote Broadridge solutions.
  • Manage internal resources to provide expertise and support during the sales process.
Required Experience
  • Deep understanding of front‑ and middle‑office operations of hedge funds and private credit managers.
  • Connectivity to the hedge‑fund and private‑credit ecosystem, including prime brokers, admins, and advisory firms.
  • Rolodex of C‑suite executives at hedge funds and private‑credit firms.
  • Minimum 10 years of buy‑side sales management experience selling technology‑based solutions to the buy side.
  • Experience with software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) and/or enterprise platform sales.
  • Closing and contract‑negotiation skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of products such as OMS, portfolio management, risk, compliance data warehouse, pricing, reference data, accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and managed services.
  • Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem solving with prospects and clients.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Demonstrated success managing product and segment sales people to quota.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.
Compensation

Salary range: $185,000–$200,000 USD. Bonus eligibility: yes.
