Who We Are

We are an AI-driven cybersecurity startup redefining how organizations identify, prioritize, and eliminate risk before it becomes a threat. We partner with enterprise and government organizations worldwide to strengthen resilience against rapidly evolving cyber threats.

The Opportunity

Securin is seeking a Head of SLED to build, lead, and scale our State, Local Government, and Education business. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving public sector revenue growth, developing market strategy, and establishing Securin as a trusted cybersecurity partner for government and education organizations nationwide.

As the company's senior-most SLED leader, you will define the public sector go-to-market strategy, establish key partnerships, influence product and marketing priorities, and serve as the executive owner of Securin's SLED growth strategy.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales leader who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. You will work closely with executive leadership to shape how Securin engages the public sector market, develop relationships with key stakeholders across government and education, and create the foundation for a scalable and repeatable SLED business.

What You'll Do

Define and execute Securin's overall SLED go-to-market strategy.

Own revenue growth and pipeline development across State, Local Government, and Education organizations.

Identify, prioritize, and penetrate target accounts, agencies, municipalities, higher education institutions, and K-12 organizations.

Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Risk Leaders, Procurement Officers, and other key stakeholders.

Develop and manage a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, channel partnerships, strategic account planning, and industry engagement.

Navigate complex public sector procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, contract vehicles, cooperative purchasing agreements, and funding cycles.

Establish and grow strategic relationships with channel partners, resellers, systems integrators, MSSPs, and public sector-focused alliances.

Partner closely with Marketing to develop campaigns, messaging, and demand generation strategies tailored to the public sector.

Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of full-cycle Account Executives to consistently achieve ambitious pipeline and revenue targets.

Collaborate with Product and Executive Leadership to ensure public sector customer needs influence product direction and company strategy.

Represent Securin at industry conferences, trade associations, public sector cybersecurity events, and executive forums.

Accurately forecast revenue, manage pipeline health, and maintain visibility into business performance.

Develop recommendations for future hiring, territory expansion, and organizational growth as the SLED business scales.

Deploy AI-driven workflows to bring automation intopipeline generation, streamline SLED-specific deal movement, and enhance data reporting accuracy for the public sector.

What Success Looks Like
First 3 Months: Foundations & Strategy

Establish Securin's public sector go-to-market strategy: Deep dive into existing processes and define the roadmap for SLED markets.

Identify lighthouse customers: Begin outreach and relationship building with key government and education prospects.

Implement AI tool chain to drive automation: Integrate AI-driven workflows to optimize pipeline generation, deal movement, and data reporting.

First 12 Months: Execution & Scale

Secure key lighthouse customers: Convert initial outreach into high-profile partnerships within the government and education sectors.

Develop strategic partner relationships: Formalize alliances that accelerate growth and market access.

Create a scalable foundation for future SLED team expansion: Build the infrastructure and playbooks necessary to grow the sales organization.

Consistently exceed targets: Deliver on pipeline and revenue goals while increasing Securin's visibility across the public sector cybersecurity ecosystem.
