Summary

The Director of Learning and Workforce Development provides strategic leadership for B&D Industries' workforce development initiatives, ensuring the organization has the talent, capabilities, leadership pipeline, and learning systems necessary to support long-term growth and operational excellence.

This role is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide learning and workforce development strategies that align employee growth with business objectives. The Director oversees leadership development, career pathways, workforce readiness programs, training investments, and learning technologies while serving as the organization's subject matter expert in adult learning and instructional effectiveness.

As a member of the Operational Excellence Senior Leadership Team, the Director partners with business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, support succession planning, and drive a culture of continuous learning across all employee groups.

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Workforce Development, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, Human Resources, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Workforce Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for personnel, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience developing and implementing organization-wide training or workforce development programs.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and workforce development methodologies.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for the degree
Supervisory Responsibility

This position includes, but is not limited to, supervision of the Learning & Development team, including managers, trainers, and other learning professionals.

Role Location

This role is an in-office-based role with travel required
