Head Cashier (HC)

Are you a highly skilled and dynamic individual looking to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment?

Ace Hardware, your local hardware store and a beloved part of the community, is seeking a Head Cashier to join our team. As a Head Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth cashier operations and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Manage cashier team and oversee daily cash handling procedures
  • Ensure accuracy in cash transactions and resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure all daily deposits are counted accurately and conducted daily
  • Ensure that merchandise displays in the front-end area are clean, organized and well-stocked
  • Maintain awareness off all promotions and advertisements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
