What does a head inspector do?
What is the difference between Head Inspector vs Quality Control Inspector?
| Aspect | Head Inspector | Quality Control Inspector |

| Work Environment | Oversees inspection teams in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings | Performs inspections on products or processes, often in manufacturing or production lines |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Used in manufacturing, construction, aerospace, and industrial sectors | Common in manufacturing, electronics, automotive, and production industries |
The Head Inspector generally holds a leadership role, overseeing inspection teams and ensuring compliance with standards, often requiring advanced certifications. The Quality Control Inspector focuses on inspecting products or processes directly, with less emphasis on leadership or certifications. Both roles are vital in quality assurance but differ mainly in scope and responsibility.
