Job Description

Cleans rooms and inspects, halls in commercial establishments such as Hotels and Timeshare and restaurants, by performing the following duties.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

  • Must consistently meet quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of all assigned rooms.
  • Must achieve a productivity of 12 credits per day. Credits are assigned based on size and type of service.
  • Strip units and remove all trash.
  • Clean units including but not limited to bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks.
  • Bathrooms - Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes.
  • Bedrooms -Strip and make beds, change bed linens, which may require lifting of all soiled linen.
  • Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens.
  • Consistently maintain unit inspection score of 80% or above as dictated by established by the resort.
  • Ensures proper use of all equipment and supplies following established procedures.
  • Immediately reports Lost & Found items following established procedures.
  • Work in a team environment and assist with other duties as necessary.
  • Ensure all inventory is in each unit.
  • Replenishes houseware supplies as needed.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Cleans entire unit inside and outside.
  • Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
  • Assists in the training of fellow employees as it pertains to their area.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree GED.
  • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Follow instructions without close supervision.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
