What is the opportunity?

Wealth Management Data & AI is responsible for delivering a global data foundation and innovative AI capabilities across all of Wealth Management's global businesses. Central to the AI roadmap is an AI powered Wealth Advisor Assistant that will deliver differentiated AI capabilities to over 6,000 wealth management professionals.

As the Sr. Director, Data & AI, you will be responsible for driving the strategic design, management, and implementation of this multi-year, high impact program in Canada. You will leverage best in class GenAI, AI, and ML capabilities to deliver new insights and capabilities with global reach. You will also be responsible for field and head office business intelligence as well as our data strategy, data strategy and platform.

What will you do?

  • Lead the definition, discovery, and roadmap development for a series of AI & GenAI capabilities in WM Canada, including products for time liberation and direct value generation

  • In collaboration with regional Data & AI leads, deliver both foundational capabilities and customized products supporting advisors

  • Assist in the adoption of AI and a culture of data driven decision making across WM

  • Lead the Business Intelligence function for Wealth Management Canada, enabling both advisors and head office to make better data driven decisions

  • Further our data strategy, building on a strong foundation to enable both AI and self-serve capabilities across the platform

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of highly qualified AI researchers and engineers, product managers, and business intelligence developers. Ensure time is allocated for personal development and growth. In addition, manage workload across the team to ensure a set amount of time is allocated to drive new and innovative product work

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Master's Degree in computer science or related technical field

  • 7+ years of experience leading high-impact machine learning solutions in a product-centric environment

  • Proven experience across the entire development lifecycle, including prototyping, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and productizing

  • Ability to lead and develop AI researchers and engineers through executing on enterprise product builds

  • Strong foundation in ML & GenAI

  • Background in BI an asset
