Job description

Boys and Girls Cross Country Head Coach

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, organize, and monitor daily practices for both boys' and girls' high school teams.
  • Utilize assistant coach(s) to assist with completing regular practice and meet duties.
  • Assist with season meet scheduling and determining the locations and inclusion of specific meets.
  • Travel with the team to out-of-town meets using school-provided transportation.
  • Oversee the distribution and collection of uniforms at the start and end of the season.
  • Work with parents to organize and participate in the end-of-season event.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the athletic director.
  • Organize and recruit volunteers as needed for meet requirements.
  • Organize fundraising as needed for end-of-season events and any other extras.
