What is HDR in engineering?

In engineering, HDR typically refers to High Dynamic Range imaging or processing, which involves capturing and combining multiple images at different exposures to produce a final image with greater detail in both shadows and highlights. For engineers working in fields like imaging, sensor design, or automation, understanding HDR techniques is important for developing systems that handle a wide range of lighting conditions effectively.

Is HDR a good career path?

HDR Engineering is a specialized field focused on high dynamic range imaging and related technologies, often requiring skills in electronics, software, and optics. It offers opportunities in industries such as entertainment, medical imaging, and aerospace, with roles involving research, development, and technical support.
