Job description

Responsibilities (Registered Dental Assistant):

  • Breaking down/ setting up dental chairs
  • Assist dentists during dental treatment
  • Clean dental instruments
  • Maintain dental equipment and instruments
  • Clean operatories and office when needed

Responsibilities (front desk/receptionist):
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Handle billing and payment transactions
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns

Requirements:

  • Self manager; can complete tasks independently without constant supervision
  • Has integrity and good ethics. Employer must be able to trust team member
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
