Job Summary:

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Program seeking Pulmonology Critical Care trained physician interested in both ICU and Pulmonology work. Flexible models for pulmonology will be considered.
Qualified Candidates:
  • Must be board certified/board eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care
  • Florida License or ability to obtain
  • Full Time. block scheduling; mix of day and night shifts in ICU
  • Day/night shifts shared equally with all team members 
  • 12-hour shifts covering a 26-bed med/surg closed ICU and 10-bed closed CCU
  • Structure: 2 MDs & 1 APP on day shift (7am to 7pm); 1 MD on night shift (7 pm to 7 am)
  • Average daily patient census 30
  • GME Teaching Facility with Residents rotating thru the ICU
  • Pulmonology inpatient and outpatient based on preferences/needs, flexible
