Job Summary and QualificationsThe HVAC Technician performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots, and services industrial HVAC systems in multiple acute care and non-acute care hospital settings under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. The technician performs tests and analysis of data to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. The HVAC technician will be expected to reliably maintain all equipment per HCA Healthcare Engineering standards to ensure the highest level of efficiency and to reduce business interruptions. Must be well organized, keep accurate service and maintenance records using HCA Healthcare’s computerized maintenance management system, and communicate in a clear and professional manner with all vendors, visitors, colleagues and leaders. This position also requires colleague to perform general maintenance of mechanical conveyors, troubleshoting automated equipment systems, minor plumbing, electrical, bassic carpentry, painting, heating, and cooling and other building systems.
