About the Role
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Hazmat Drivers to join our growing transportation team.
This position involves the transportation of sulfuric acid, aluminum sulfate, and other chemicals using our fleet of 3 Freightliner Cascadias, 1 Peterbilt, an Acid Trailer, an End Dump Trailer, and 3 ISO Tanks.
This role requires strict adherence to DOT safety regulations, proper handling of hazardous materials, and on-time deliveries to industrial clients.
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport sulfuric acid, aluminum sulfate, and other chemical products to customer locations.
  • Operate acid trailers, end dump trailers, and ISO tanks in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure all hazmat documentation and placards are accurate and up to date.
  • Follow all safety protocols for hazardous material handling and unloading.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and trip reports.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and maintenance teams.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A License with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (chemical transport preferred).
  • Clean driving record (no major violations or accidents).
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat safety procedures.
  • Physically capable of performing loading/unloading tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication, dependability, and safety awareness.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience hauling sulfuric acid or corrosive materials.
  • Familiarity with ISO tank and end dump trailer operations.
  • TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is a plus.
