CDL-A Local Intermodal Night Driver | Earn Up to $1,700/Week (Home Daily)

We are actively onboarding experienced Class A CDL drivers for a high-earning, dedicated local intermodal night fleet operating directly out of our Salt Lake City rail hub. If you want consistent high-volume hours, 100% no-touch freight, and a reliable schedule that puts you in your own bed every single night, this is your seat.

Job Highlights & Pay Structure
  • Earnings Average: $1,300 to $1,700 gross per week
  • Calculated Annual Target: $67,600 to $88,400 per year ($1,300–$1,700/wk × 52 weeks)
  • Compensation Model: $15.00 per hour base + $12.50 per stop ($24.50 average payout per load with 2 stops per load)
  • Weekly Hours: High-volume work schedule averaging 60 to 70 hours per week
  • Home Time Routine: 100% Home Daily—finish your night shift and sleep at home every day
  • Operational Territory: Short-haul container dispatches running within a tight 1- to 65-mile radius of the Salt Lake City terminal
  • Freight & Handling: 100% No-Touch Freight; mounting containers onto bare chassis for drop-and-hook deliveries, preloaded runs, and live site transfers (averaging 3 to 8 loads daily)
  • Shift & Cadence: Dedicated Night Shift; choose between Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday dispatches. Weekend work is standard, but holiday shifts are completely optional.
Driver Requirements & Full Benefits
  • Experience Baseline: Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience required. (Trainees and team setups are closed on this lane).
  • Hiring Boundary: Must live within 25 miles of the rail terminal in Salt Lake City, Utah (Zip Code: 84104).
  • Credentials: Valid Class A CDL and active DOT Medical Card. Hazmat endorsement is welcomed but not mandatory.
  • Screening Standards: Clean MVR and work history; must pass mandatory pre-employment hair follicle and urine DOT drug screenings (Non-SAP compliant).
