Our onsite mill services and resource recovery services offer sustainable solutions that maximize environmental benefit and return valuable raw material into production. We also have developed a range of by-products for specialized applications across industry, construction and agriculture, which utilize Harsco’s expertise in mineral materials.

Job Description

This position is responsible for day to day Heavy Equipment Operation (including truck driver, drop ball crane, material handler, pot carrier, and/or loader) activities at a steelmetal recovery plant. Duties include but not limited to:

A.    Performs routine mobile equipment pre start and post inspections and records activity on inspection sheets.

B.    Follows all plant safety guidelines for the safe operations of heavy mobile equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1.    High school diploma or equivalent.

2.    1 - 3 year’s experience as a equipment operator.

3.    Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.

4.    Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.

5.    Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
