Location: NTS Pinewood Facility, Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB)
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

Position Summary

The Journeyman Hardware Engineer supports TACLAN operations by evaluating technologies, troubleshooting system and network issues, and performing hardware and software installations and updates. This role assists in scalable system design efforts and contributes to hardware testing and requirements development to support reliable and efficient system performance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Evaluate hardware and network technologies for suitability and performance
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Perform system updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Install and configure hardware and supporting software components
  • Assist in scalable system and network design activities
  • Conduct hardware testing and validation procedures
  • Draft technical specifications and supporting documentation
Education

Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering, systems engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Experience supporting hardware installation, troubleshooting, and system configuration in operational environments
