What we need:
We are looking for candidates with Electrical Engineering Technician fundamentals. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, be creative, think critically, and be able to analyze & distill complex issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Wire and solder according to schematics
  • Redline and electrical schematic updates
  • Project/Prototype build and assembly
  • Bill Of Material creation and procurement tracking
  • Contribute to project Build Plan
  • Execute test procedures and debug proof of concepts or early engineering units
  • Ensure the execution of testing and test plans are completed with the highest level of quality
  • Provide critical analysis and test result summaries and performance metrics.
  • Document performance data and use statistical data analysis techniques to summarize results
  • Participate in test strategy discussions, developing test methodologies, plans & test cases to ensure system performance metrics meet product specifications
  • Maintain all Fresh shops, labs, tooling, and equipment as part of the technician team responsibilities
  • Practice and hold team members accountable for all safety measures and guidelines
  • Support Fresh teams and projects with mechanical and electrical builds as a member of the Technician team.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred Education: A.A. in Engineering Technology or B.S. in EE or EET
  • 1-3 years as an Electrical Technician working on hardware
  • 1-3 years experience testing of electro-mechanical hardware prototypes
  • Ability to read and redline electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot to component level
  • Wiring skills, capable of wiring prototype system, UL508a experience a plus
  • Ability to use hand and powered hand tools
  • Ability to follow test plans and procedures, and report with concise summaries, graphs, or charts
  • Exposure to the development of test systems and automation using common test equipment
  • Ability to organize, analyze, summarize, and present test result data
  • Ability to work to a schedule and own assigned test areas and deliverables
  • Strong communication skills to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms
  • Aptitude to plan and execute work efficiently, adapting to changing requirements
  • Able to work closely with Electrical, Industrial, Hardware, Software, Component, Reliability, Manufacturing and Compliance Engineers as well as Program Managers
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes, reliability, mechanical engineering, or end user system level product testing
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, self-driven, and reliable with strong work ethics and interpersonal skills.

For a Washington-State-based Contract role, the hourly hiring range for this position on 1099 is $30/hr to $40/hr. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
