The Role
Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Architect (Level 4) with specialized expertise in AI systems architecture, enterprise scale systems engineering, and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing advanced system solutions that incorporate modern AI technologies and cloud native frameworks. This role will collaborate closely with cross functional engineering, cybersecurity, program leadership, and IT operations teams to establish robust, scalable, and secure end to end architectures.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience.
Technical Responsibilities
โ€ข Architect scalable, distributed system solutions integrating AI/ML models, data pipelines, and real time analytics components.
โ€ข Define cloud native architectures using AWS, Azure, GovCloud, or private cloud platforms, including network topology, compute orchestration, identity management, and zero trust patterns.
โ€ข Own systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, interface definition, MBSE, and integration strategy development.
โ€ข Develop technical architecture artifacts (logical/physical diagrams, data flows, sequence diagrams, security models, deployment architectures).
โ€ข Architect and evaluate AI/ML platforms, MLOps pipelines, model lifecycle workflows, and inference at edge or inference at scale patterns.
