What is a hardware department associate?

Hardware Department Associates are retail employees who work in the hardware section of a store, such as a home improvement or hardware retailer. Their primary duties include assisting customers in finding products, providing information about tools and materials, restocking shelves, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the department. They may also help with inventory management and occasionally operate cash registers. Good communication skills and a basic knowledge of hardware products are essential for this role.
