FULL TIME - 40 HRS/WEEK SALES ASSOCIATE
Do you possess vast knowledge of hardware-related products, home & garden, plumbing, electrical, paint, construction, tools, power tools, and or other related areas along with a willingness to learn? Join our team!
We are looking qualified candidates for a full-time Sales Associate position.
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Associate position are to maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, merchandise products, and support the store management team. At Cole Hardware you are responsible for creating positive Dinnertime Conversations with every interaction you have. Your job demands that you always operate professionally, with enthusiasm & a smile, and have goodwill towards our customers and your coworkers. You must be a self-starter; an independent individual.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure customers receive outstanding service with every interaction
-Generate sales and maintain a department
-Be positive and friendly at all times to your coworkers and especially to our customers
-Have a commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
-Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by store management
-Stock merchandise and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock areas clean and organized
-Uphold merchandising, inventory, and store cleanliness standards and procedures
-Maintain a well-stocked, well-organized department, and back-stock area
-Be responsive of safety issues & be conscious of shoplifting activity
-Other duties may be assigned
Requirements/Qualifications - What we're looking for:
  • Retail experience preferred (especially in hardware, paint, tools, electrical and plumbing)
  • A professional, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to stand, lift, and move stock as needed
  • Weekend and evening availability

Physical Demands:
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 40lbs), and climbing (ladders, stairs, etc.).
Wage Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour
