Title: CMDB Configuration Manager (ServiceNow)
Duration: Long Term Extendable Project
Location: Onsite 2-3 days/week at Denver International Airport (local candidates only)
Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Configuration Manager to strengthen and mature our CMDB data, which underpins enterprise asset lifecycle management. This role goes beyond basic administration-responsible for ensuring Configuration Item (CI) and asset data is accurate, complete, compliant, and service-aware. The position is pivotal in enabling reliable impact analysis, reporting, and operational decision-making, while actively managing integrations, reconciliations, and stakeholder alignment across Technology Asset Management (TAM), Procurement, and Operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing ServiceNow CMDB (Health, Data Manager, Attestation)
  • Hands-on expertise with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, ETL processes, and third-party data sources
  • Strong knowledge of CI/asset lifecycle alignment and relationships
  • Solid grounding in ITIL v4 practices (Service Configuration Management, Asset Management)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • ServiceNow CIS in Hardware Asset Management or Discovery
  • Experience with HAM Professional and advanced CSDM implementations
  • Track record managing large hardware environments (10,000+ CIs)
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Power BI, or advanced Excel
