As our global firm grows, we continue to add individuals who seek a collaborative, open-door culture that values diversity and innovative thinking.
In our collegial environment that's marked by low turnover and high energy, you'll be inspired to grow and thrive. Here, you will be encouraged to build on your strengths and acquire new skills and experiences.
We are committed to fostering an environment of inclusion that promotes mutual respect among all employees. Understanding and valuing these differences optimizes the potential of both the individual and the firm.
HarbourVest is an equal opportunity employer.
This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.
This person will be an integral part of Institutional Sales Enablement within HarbourVest's Marketing team and be responsible for the development of high-quality Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ), and Fundraising Inquiries (FI) for institutional prospects and clients. The individual will partner closely with teams across the firm to manage response processes, synthesize investment information, and help deliver accurate, compelling, and client-ready materials in a fast-paced global environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail, editing, and proofreading skills, with a commitment to producing accurate, polished work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, client-ready responses.
  • Knowledgeable about private markets, basic financial concepts, marketing regulations, business risk, compliance procedures, and current financial markets.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify issues, propose practical solutions, and follow through on execution.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships with internal partners across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborative and maintain flexibility to support local and global teams across multiple projects and timelines.
  • Curious and willing to learn, with the ability to quickly develop expertise in new subject areas.

What you will do:
  • Develop accurate, high-quality, and compelling RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and FIs for institutional prospective investors.
  • Manage the end-to-end response process, including kickoff calls, initial drafts, stakeholder reviews, compliance review, and final production.
  • Partner with Investment Specialists, Investor Relations, Performance, Legal, Marketing Compliance, and other teams to source information and data while building strong working relationships that support high-quality responses.
  • Use our RFP content management system to produce first drafts, improve response quality, and drive consistency across materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across HarbourVest's global offices to meet business needs and global deadlines.
