Class A CDL Semi-Local Driver Harbor Freight Account

Job Summary

Looking for consistent semi-local runs that bring you home every day to every other day? This dedicated Harbor Freight fleet out of Haslet covers local and overnight routes across TX, OK, NM, KS, MO, LA, AR, TN, and MS. You will manage preloaded freight and utilize a hand pallet jack for driver-assist unloads.

Driver Eligibility & Compliance

  • CDL Requirement: Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Experience Standard: 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the past 12 months, OR equivalent road time versus off-road time over the past 10 years.
  • Medical & Safety Clearance: Must meet DOT qualifications and pass mandatory pre-employment urine and hair follicle drug screenings.

Schedule & Operational Details

  • Home Time: Semi-local schedule with home time varying from every day to every other day based on your assigned runs.
  • Shift Parameters: Expect 11-hour daily shifts or 70-hour clock utilization; delivery windows run MonSun (06001800) with dispatch start times anywhere between 00012359. Saturday work depends on customer volume.
  • Unload Process: Customer preloads all trailers; drivers use a manual hand pallet jack to move pallets to the tail for store personnel to offload via forklift (24 stops per load).
