Mr. Handyman of Greater Peoria is looking for the best — experienced professionals who take pride in quality work and genuinely care about helping homeowners.
We are hiring for:
  • Well-rounded Handyman Service Professionals
  • Strong Carpenters with solid light plumbing, electrical, and finishing skills
Minimum Requirements:
  • 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in residential (and ideally light commercial) maintenance, repairs, or carpentry.
  • Strong skills in finish carpentry, drywall repair & texture matching, painting, light plumbing, and light electrical.
  • Comfortable with exterior repairs including soffit, fascia, siding, gutter and fence repairs.
  • Ability to generate accurate project estimates and present them professionally.
  • Must have your own tools and a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Comfort working with iPad/mobile technology for job documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform interior and exterior home repairs including: 
    • Drywall patching and texture matching 
    • Finish carpentry, door/hardware installation, shelving, and trim work 
    • Painting (interior & exterior) 
    • Light plumbing repairs and installations 
    • Basic electrical tasks (ceiling fans, light fixtures, outlets, switches) 
    • Soffit, fascia, siding, and other exterior repairs 
    • Furniture assembly, TV mounting, screen/door repairs, caulking, and general maintenance
  • Diagnose issues, provide clear estimates, and complete work efficiently with minimal disruption.
  • Communicate empathetically with clients and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
