Caring Hands Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team in a full-time remote position that focuses on providing essential mental health support to students within the educational setting. This position is remote, enabling you to connect with students and families across Beaverton, Oregon, from the comfort of home. While the primary hours are set from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, flexibility is required for occasional evening or weekend sessions based on client availability. This role allows you to engage in meaningful interactions with students and their families while utilizing virtual platforms to conduct assessments and provide counseling.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, incorporating emotional, mental, and social factors that may impact their academic success and personal development.
• Develop individualized service plans, in collaboration with students and their families, to address specific goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Provide ongoing counseling and psychological support to students facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues, equipping them with effective coping mechanisms.
• Serve as an advocate for students, liaising with teachers, parents, and community resources to ensure access to necessary services and support systems.
• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect changes in circumstances or needs, and document all interactions accurately in our case management system.
• Facilitate workshops and group sessions that promote social skills, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation within school settings.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of issues including academic stress, family dynamics, behavioral concerns, and emotional challenges. You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that encourages student engagement and resilience, aiding them in navigating the complexities of school life.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a social work capacity, preferably within an educational or community setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective therapeutic interventions relevant to the school-aged population.
• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop rapport with adolescents and their families.

• Experience working within a school environment or with young clients navigating developmental challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based social work practices and therapeutic methodologies.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or advocacy programs that serve families and children.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
