Job description

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Mario’s Painting & Construction is a growing, full-service contractor specializing in commercial painting, interior build-outs, and property improvement projects across South Florida. Our work ranges from small retail interiors to large-scale concrete restoration and exterior projects..

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from start to finish. This role is both office-based and field-based, requiring regular job site visits and close coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and senior management.

You will play a key role in keeping projects organized, materials coordinated, and operations running efficiently, while serving as a professional face of the company in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout

- Coordinate with superintendents to plan and execute field operations

- Order, track, and ensure timely delivery of materials

- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and project schedules

- Prepare and submit submittals and write RFIs

- Handle project documentation, change orders, and reporting

- Manage client and subcontractor invoicing and track project costs

- Maintain strong communication with clients, field teams, and senior management

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and resolve issues

Qualifications

- 3+ years of construction project management experience

- Experience in commercial painting, interiors, or general contracting preferred

- Ability to read plans and understand project scope

- Experience with submittals and RFIs required

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Comfortable working both in-office and in the field

- Reliable transportation required
