Job description

Role Overview

The material handler will perform receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping functions. Duties include physically handling a variety of products, both palletized and non-palletized, to fill customer orders with speed and accuracy - safely. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
   Inbound Receiving
   Order picking - potentially using powered equipment - product and/or equipment
   Counting of individual packages/pallets 
   RF hand-held computer work.
   Processing outbound paperwork for both domestic and international shipment via Computer
   Processing of Customer returns
   Physically lifting packages up to 50 lbs. 
   Loading Trucks and Ocean Containers
   Using safety equipment including safety knives, banding equipment, air bag fulfillment 
   Cycle counting and additional inventory functions - as needed


REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
   Previous warehouse experience - 3-5 yrs.
   Knowledge of forklift operations and previous driving experience. 
   Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. 
   Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours.
   Able to perform repetitive motions including hand and arm motions. 
   Attention to details.
   Team player, support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs
   Strong understanding of SAP 
   Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
