This full-time, remote position allows for flexibility while providing crucial mental health support to individuals facing a variety of challenges, including substance abuse disorders, intellectual disabilities, and other mental health issues. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant master's degree and be licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

This position operates entirely remotely, enabling our professionals to work from the comfort of their own homes while providing outpatient services to clients. As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of tasks designed to promote client recovery and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake diagnostic assessments to understand client needs, including Gains assessment, Locus assessments, crisis planning, and treatment planning.
• Developing tailored therapeutic models based on thorough assessments that delve into the root causes of clients' challenges, thereby fostering effective recovery pathways.
• Building strong therapeutic alliances through respectful and effective communication with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including medical and correctional personnel.
• Managing case documentation and maintaining accurate records within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Facilitating referrals to psychiatrists or additional specialists as necessary, ensuring a comprehensive support network for each client.

The clients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and may face a multitude of mental health challenges. Your work will include supporting individuals with substance abuse issues, intellectual disabilities, and various mental health disorders. By utilizing a culturally competent approach, you will provide care tailored to the unique circumstances and experiences of each client.

• A master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or any related mental health field.
• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third-party background check.
• Proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Experience in providing virtual counseling services will be highly regarded, as will familiarity with mental health software and electronic health records. Candidates who have worked with diverse populations or in community-based settings are encouraged to apply.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, dependent on your caseload and prior experience.
