Job SummaryUnder the direction of the consulting Pathologist and the supervision of Risk Management, the Infection Preventionist is responsible for surveillance, identification, investigation, and data recording of healthcare-associated infections. This role involves initiating infection prevention measures and addressing communicable diseases among patients, staff, and volunteers. The Infection Preventionist is integral to the Infection Control Committee and supports the hospital’s infection prevention programs.
