Overview

Our Center for Process Excellence team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise processes, and the technology and analytics supporting these.

As a core member of our Innovation Excellence team, the Principal Business Process Analyst (Product Lifecycle Management) will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to ensure alignment and successful delivery of PLM capabilities. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and supporting PLM processes within the S/4HANA ERP environment, with support for future state PLM initiatives. The analyst ensures high-quality design decisions, drives cross-functional coordination, and supports successful deployment of PLM capabilities. 

Responsibilities

Business Alignment & Leadership 

  • Act as the PLM business lead for workstream decisions and cross-functional alignment for S/4 HANA enterprise deployment 
  • Coordinate with IT and system integrators to ensure feasibility and solution consistency. 
  • Responsible for boundary applications that integrate our PLM platform to our SAP S4 ERP platform 
  • Lead PLM business process testing and validation to ensure robustness of solutions. Analyze current processes and customizations to support future-state design. 

Project Management 

  • Manage assigned PLM-related projects or subprojects, ensuring delivery of scope, timeline, and milestones in alignment with the broader S/4HANA program. 
  • Facilitate project meetings, track action items, monitor progress, and drive timely issue resolution. 
  • Ensure alignment of project deliverables with PLM roadmap, enterprise design standards, and future-state process requirements. 
  • Support vendor coordination and ensure deliverables meet quality expectations and integration requirements. 

 Testing & Quality Assurance 

  • Coordinate testing resources, oversee unit testing and readiness, including test reviews, scripts, and defect tracking. 
  • Support Integrated test cycles and user acceptance tests, cutover and hyper care activities. 
  • Prepare for future releases 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work across multiple workstreams to ensure end-to-end process alignment. 
  • Coordinate activities across boundary systems tied to PLM. 

Change Management & Adoption 

  • Support training, communication, and organizational readiness activities. 
  • Champion new processes and capture business feedback                                                                     
Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst or PLM Functional Analyst, ideally with S/4HANA experience.  
  • Experience with PLM platforms (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill). 
  • Strong understanding of PLM processes. 
  • Skilled in Agile delivery, JIRA, testing cycles, and cross-functional coordination. 
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Deep domain expertise of Product Life Cycle Management in Life Sciences industry                        #LI-Hybrid
