Job overview 

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing the highest quality of service possible to guests in an efficient and courteous manner within the hotel. In addition, this individual shall be well-versed on hotel-brand standards, guest expectations and local area.  

Your day-to-day 

  • Greet customers upon arrival to the dining area. 
  • Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner. Answer questions, create an upbeat atmosphere for guests.  
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards. 
  • Clear and clean tables as guests leave. 
  • Set tables throughout the shift when applicable. 
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner to assigned areas. 
  • Maintain proper set-up of dining area. 
  • Preparation of food according to LodgeWorks/brand standards and ensuring temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations. 
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen and dining areas. 
  • Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area. 
  • Support other areas or roles when necessary.  
  • Ensure all food orders are put and stored in proper places with proper dating. 
  • Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times. 
  • Clean out all refrigerators and reach-in coolers daily; label, date and rotate items 
  • Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests, and report the situation to the Manager. 
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.  
  • Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation.  
  • Complete any other tasks as requested by management.

  • Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling. 
  • A plus: At least one year of server experience.  
  • A must: A social butterfly - creating a positive experience for our guests.
