Job description

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join our team with Rich Yuro in Hamilton, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of all guests by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool environment by conducting regular inspections and reporting hazards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool area.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Attend all required training sessions and maintain current lifeguard certifications.
Qualifications
  • Current lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA) required.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
