WHAT WE OFFER


We have a salon space for rent with a hair stylist station and nail technician station. It is $500.00 a month, split between the hairstylist and the nail technician. Everything is provided in the salon for basic functions. It is set up to function immediately. It is newly remodeled with brand new equipment! We are running a special for rent for new operators, so please reach out and ask! You may operate this space with your own clients, as long as you prioritize our residents first. Must be proper in the salon with language and appearance. We respect and love our seniors!


POSITION SUMMARY

We seek a compassionate  Licensed Beautician/Hair Stylist to provide high-quality hair care and services to the residents of our community. This individual will play a vital role in enhancing residents' self-esteem, dignity, and overall well-being through personal care services in a warm and respectful environment.

If you're outgoing, reliable, and passionate about putting smiles on the faces of those you serve, this job is for you! New grads and candidates with minimum experience are welcome to apply!


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide hair care services including haircuts, shampoos, styling, coloring, perms, and other grooming treatments as requested.
  • Must be open 5 days a week, with a minimum of 2 walk-in days, and 2 days with walk-in times for our seniors. 
  •  Create a welcoming, relaxing salon experience tailored to the needs and preferences of older adults.
  •  Maintain the salon's cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in compliance with state cosmetology board requirements and infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, family members, and team members.
  • Maintain appointment schedules and manage salon supplies and inventory.
  • Communicate any resident concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all community policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Certificates:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a Licensed beautician per state requirements.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills:

  • At least 6 months of experience as a hair stylist is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
  • Maintaining composure in stressful situations and treating our residents with respect and dignity.
  • Customer service mindset, patience, and compassion.
